About Octomark
This page explains what Octomark is, what it covers, who writes it and how to reach us.
What Octomark is
Octomark is a guide to casino sister sites for UK players: casinos run by the same operator or owned by the same owner, and what that means for you. A shared licence on its own does not make two casinos sisters. It is not a casino.
We are on your side, never the casino's. When a casino's terms cost you money or time, we say so in the same paragraph as what you can do about it. Bad findings move ratings; commercial deals never fix a position on our pages.
What we cover
We have a sister-sites page for MrQ, 32Red, Dream Jackpot, Spin Genie, PlayOJO, 888 Casino and Mr Vegas. Each one names the company that runs the casino and compares it with its sister sites.
PlayOJO and Spin Genie are both run by Skill on Net Ltd, so each is reviewed as a sister of the other. MrQ has no sister sites: the register lists one brand, so its page reviews sites like MrQ instead.
What we do not do
We take no bets, hold no player accounts and handle no payments. To play, deposit or withdraw, you deal with the casino itself, under its own terms.
No link on Octomark pays us at the moment. Our affiliate disclosure says so, and it will say when that changes.
We never present a sister site as a way around a self-exclusion. If you have excluded yourself, or are thinking about it, our responsible gambling page lists the help services for UK players.
Who writes Octomark
The Octomark research team writes and checks every page on the site.
The team reads each casino's own pages and terms for UK players on a dated day, and the Gambling Commission public register for the licence account behind the casino. Our team then tests these casinos and checks every fact on a page before it is published.
Our method page sets out how we find sister sites and how we rate each casino.
Contact and corrections
Email us at info@octomark.co.uk with a question about any page.
If a fact on one of our pages is wrong or out of date, tell us which page and what you found. We check it again against the casino's own pages and correct the page when the fact is wrong.
We cannot see or change a casino account. For a problem with a deposit, a withdrawal or your account, complain to the casino first and follow its complaints process.
