The short answer
PlayOJO has two sister sites open to UK players: Spin Genie and Mega Casino. All three are run by one company, Skill on Net Ltd, under one Gambling Commission account. The biggest difference is wagering. PlayOJO's 50 free spins on a £10 first deposit carry no wagering, while both sisters attach 10x wagering to their welcome offers. Spin Genie gives 120 free spins and Mega Casino matches 100% up to £25 plus 50 spins, but you must play the winnings through ten times on slots before you can withdraw them. Check the wagering line before you deposit, not after.

Spin Genie is a sister on the same company and licence: its terms print the same operator, Skill on Net Ltd of Malta, and the same Gambling Commission account as PlayOJO's. Mega Casino prints that operator line and account too, which makes it a sister on the same company and licence. Neither tie rests on a shared parent: none of the three sites names one.
The register lists 61 websites under that account, 59 of them active, and dozens of brand names besides these three. We review in full only the brands whose own terms we have read and checked, so we give the others no rating here. Treat their offers as unchecked until we read their terms.
| Casino | Sister kind | Rating | Welcome offer | Wagering | First deposit | Licence | Accepts UK | Games |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Spin Genie | same company and licence | 4.6 | 120 free spins | 10x spin winnings | £10 | Gambling Commission, active | Yes, Great Britain only | 4,000+ |
Mega Casino | same company and licence | 4.4 | 100% up to £25 + 50 free spins | 10x bonus and spin winnings | £10 | Gambling Commission, active | Yes, Great Britain only | 5,000+ |
Self-exclusion does carry over. PlayOJO's page says that if you self-exclude, the exclusion "will also be automatically applied to other casino accounts that share the same license as PlayOJO." Spin Genie and Mega Casino say their self-exclusion affects all known accounts you have on the same licence. An account they do not know about may not be covered, and casinos run by other companies are not covered at all. If you need every licensed site closed to you, not just this family, use Gamstop. A sister site is never a way around a self-exclusion.
The three casinos share an operator, but each brand keeps its own account. We could not find a term saying deposit limits or loyalty progress move between them, so set a limit at each site you open.
Each brand allows one account. PlayOJO's reward policy is the strictest: only one account is allowed per person, household, family, household address, email address, card number, e-wallet account or shared computer. Spin Genie and Mega Casino treat registering multiple accounts in another player's name as abuse, and say it leads to suspended accounts and voided winnings. If someone else in your home already plays at PlayOJO, ask support before you register.
Spin Genie is the only one of the three that prints an inactive account fee: up to £5 a month once an account counts as inactive. Mega Casino's terms let it withhold or recover money from any other account you hold with an Operator Group company when the events its terms list affect one of them. Close accounts you no longer use.
Identity checks work the same way at Spin Genie and Mega Casino: they try to verify your details automatically, and if that fails you must upload ID and a recent utility bill before you can deposit or play. PlayOJO says it uses automated and manual checks on age. Have your documents ready before your first deposit.
Complaints are made to the brand where the problem happened; the steps are further down.

PlayOJO is the casino the sisters are measured against, and we rate it 4.6. Its welcome offer is 50 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza, worth £0.10 each, on a first deposit of £10 or more, with no wagering on the winnings. It also pays money back on every real money bet through OJOplus, which you can turn into cash at any time with no conditions.
Payments include Trustly, PayPal, Paysafecard, Visa, MasterCard, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and PlayOJO says it charges no fees for deposits or withdrawals. Its banking page puts the minimum withdrawal at £0.
The lobby holds 8,000+ games from studios including Evolution, Pragmatic Play, NetEnt and Play'n GO. Over 60 live casino games run 24/7, with table stakes from £5 to £5,000 and some tables made only for PlayOJO players.
Support runs by live chat and email, 24/7, and apps are on the App Store and Google Play.
Withdrawals: PlayOJO states that 95% of withdrawals are processed within minutes; arrival time depends on the payment method. To avoid a hold, upload proof of ID (passport, driving licence or government ID card) and proof of address (a utility bill or bank statement) before the first withdrawal.
Each review below covers only where the sister differs from PlayOJO; the shared rules are in the section above.

Spin Genie carries the same company and licence as PlayOJO, and we rate it 4.6, level with PlayOJO. The difference is the cost of its welcome offer: 120 free spins on Book of Dead at 10p each for a first deposit of £10, credited automatically, but the winnings carry 10x wagering on slots only, with a maximum bet of 10% of the winnings or £5, whichever is lower. Work out what 10x means for your winnings before you play them, and keep bets under the cap.
It also runs reload offers for existing players, daily slots tournaments and a My Levels scheme where play earns points; the first level needs 125 points, and levels never drop. Existing players can also take 10 free spins a week for a year after a £25 deposit, again at 10x wagering.
Payments differ in three ways. 1. Allow up to 24 hours: Spin Genie says withdrawals arrive within 24 hours once any information it asks for is supplied. 2. Withdraw at least £10. 3. Avoid wire transfers under £500: they carry a £10.00 fee and a £50 minimum. Google Pay can be used to deposit but not to withdraw, so pick a second method for cashing out.
The lobby is smaller at 4,000+ games, with Games Global, Playtech, Red Tiger Gaming and NetEnt among its studios and Prize Twister as a network exclusive. Live chat and email are open from 06:00-00:00 GMT, not at all hours as at PlayOJO, so plan account questions for those hours. Like PlayOJO, it has store apps for iPhone and Android.
Suits a player who wants more spins on the first deposit and will accept 10x wagering on the winnings.

Mega Casino shares the same company and licence too, and we rate it 4.4, the lowest of the three. Its welcome offer is the only one with matched money: 100% of your first deposit up to £25 plus 50 free spins, for a deposit of at least £10. Both the bonus and the spin winnings carry 10x wagering, only slots count, and the maximum bet is 10% of the winnings and bonus or £5, whichever is lower. A £25 bonus means £250 of slot bets before it turns into cash, so decide whether that suits you before you accept it.
A separate offer gives 125 free spins on Big Bass Splash for a first deposit of £10 or more; check which offer you are claiming before you pay in.
Its loyalty side differs too. My Levels awards points each time you play, while the Mega VIP Casino Club is by invitation only, with a personal account manager, higher bet and withdrawal limits and VIP competitions. Points convert to cash only for customers who registered before 19/03/2017, so a new account cannot cash them. Ask support what the points buy before you chase them.
Withdrawals by Visa, Mastercard or PayPal take 1 to 3 business days, up to 5 depending on the bank. Paysafecard, Apple Pay and Google Pay take deposits only. Pick a card or PayPal for deposits if you want the same route back.
Support hours match Spin Genie's, 06:00-00:00 GMT by live chat and email. Mega Casino names an app for iOS and Android, but we found no store listing, so search the App Store or Google Play yourself before you install anything.
We could not find Mega Casino's own complaints steps or a named dispute service in the pages we read. Ask support to send them in writing before you need them.
Suits a player who wants matched money on a small first deposit and accepts 10x wagering on it.
| Casino | Wagering | Withdrawal time stated | Payment fees | Games | Support hours | Mobile |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
PlayOJO | 0x | 95% processed within minutes | None on deposits or withdrawals | 8,000+ | 24/7 | App Store and Google Play apps |
Spin Genie | 10x spin winnings | Within 24 hours | Charges on wire transfers and some e-wallets | 4,000+ | 06:00-00:00 GMT | App Store and Google Play apps |
Mega Casino | 10x bonus and spin winnings | 1 to 3 business days by card or PayPal | Not stated | 5,000+ | 06:00-00:00 GMT | App named, no store listing found |
Bonuses: PlayOJO is the only one of the three with no wagering, which makes its smaller offer the cheapest to turn into cash. Payments: PlayOJO states the quickest processing and charges no fees, while the sisters are slower on paper and Spin Genie charges for some withdrawals. Check the fee before you cash out there.
Games: PlayOJO's 8,000+ lobby is the largest; Mega Casino lists 5,000+ and Spin Genie 4,000+. Support: only PlayOJO answers at all hours. Mobile detail is thin on all three sites: beyond the app listings, only PlayOJO describes its mobile site, saying it carries the same games as desktop. Try each site on your phone before you deposit.

The picks below follow from what each casino offers. If you want winnings you can withdraw straight away, PlayOJO is the pick: its spins carry no wagering. If you want the most free spins for £10, Spin Genie gives 120, but plan for 10x wagering on what they win. If you want matched money, Mega Casino is the only one that matches your deposit, up to £25.
If you need help late at night, only PlayOJO's support is open 24/7; the two sisters close between midnight and 06:00 GMT. Use email at the sisters in those hours.

Still unknown: none of the three states a pending period before a withdrawal starts, we found no expiry date for any welcome offer, and PlayOJO and Mega Casino give no inactive account terms. Ask support about each of these in writing before you deposit, and keep the reply.
Some lists online call casinos run by other companies PlayOJO sisters. We name a casino as a sister only when its own terms print the same operator. Read any such casino's own terms for its operator before you treat it as a sister.
Our test for this page is simple: the brand's terms must print the same operator and the same Gambling Commission account as PlayOJO. A brand that fails it is a different business, with its own rules and its own exclusion scheme. If a site sends you to a casino as a PlayOJO sister, open its terms page and look for the operator line before you sign up.
1. Contact the casino's support first, in writing. Spin Genie asks for your username, full name, a detailed explanation and the dates and times involved.
2. If support does not settle it, ask for the complaint to go to a manager. Spin Genie says a manager replies with a decision within 96 hours.
3. After 8 weeks without a settled answer, take the complaint to the dispute service the casino names. Spin Genie names eCogra. Ask PlayOJO or Mega Casino support which service applies before you escalate.
Research read each casino's own UK pages, including terms, banking, help and safer gambling pages, and the Gambling Commission public register for the licence details. Our team then tested all three casinos and checked each figure here against those sources before publication. Our method page explains how we work out ratings.
Our take

Rating 4.6
Opening a PlayOJO sister makes sense only if its offer is worth the extra play-through. PlayOJO pays spin winnings as cash, has the biggest lobby and keeps support open day and night. Spin Genie, rated the same, trades that for 120 spins, a 24-hour payout promise and shorter support hours. Mega Casino, rated 4.4, adds matched money but asks the most of your bankroll and told us the least about complaints and apps; check its complaints route and app listing before you deposit there. Each of the three says a self-exclusion covers the accounts it knows about on the same licence. If you open a second account, set a deposit limit there on the first day.
If gambling stops being affordable or fun, stop and talk to someone today. The National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133 serves England and Scotland, and the NHS Wales Helpline on 0808 2819 265 serves Wales. These services are available only to Great Britain residents.
Registering with Gamstop blocks gambling websites and apps licensed in Great Britain. A sister site is never a way around a self-exclusion. GambleAware has further advice and support. You must be 18+ to gamble.
Two: Spin Genie and Mega Casino, both run by the same Malta company as PlayOJO. The register lists many more brands on that account, but we have not reviewed them.
Skill on Net Ltd operates PlayOJO, and its terms give Malta as the place of registration. None of the three sites names a parent company, so we cannot say who owns the operator. If ownership matters to you, put the question to PlayOJO's support.
Yes. All three print the same Gambling Commission account, and the register shows it as active, with 59 active websites on it.
We found nothing in the terms that stops you holding one account at each brand. The limit is one account per brand, and at PlayOJO one per household as well. Opening extra accounts in someone else's name can cost you your winnings. Keep every account in your own name.
Yes, for the accounts PlayOJO knows about on its licence, which includes Spin Genie and Mega Casino. It does not reach casinos run by other companies; Gamstop does that.
The two sisters tie at 10x, and PlayOJO itself has none. All three take £10 as the smallest first deposit, so they cost the same to start.
Spin Genie promises your cash within a day, subject to its checks. Mega Casino quotes card and PayPal withdrawals in business days, five at most depending on the bank. Neither states a pending period, so ask how long a withdrawal waits before it is processed.
We found no code. PlayOJO says regular players may get a free or no deposit bonus as kickers and rewards, as a thank you, rather than through a code. Check the rewards area of your account instead of searching for codes.
