Casinos with no sister sites for UK players
The casinos we found with no sister sites
One casino we review has no sister sites: MrQ, run by Tek Fox Ltd, and neither the Gambling Commission register nor our groups file ties another casino to it, as the table shows with our rating, from facts we checked on 30 September 2026.
| Casino | Operator | What shows it stands alone | Our rating |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tek Fox Ltd | One website listed under its licence account on the register, and no sister in our groups file | 3.9 out of 5 |
Every other casino we review has sisters, so if yours is not in the table, its own page names them, and the hub of casino sister sites lists them by operator.
What no sister sites means
A casino has no sister sites when no other casino is run by the same company or by the same parent group. It makes no difference whether the other casino holds the same licence or a different one.
A shared software platform, a shared game supplier or a shared affiliate list does not make two casinos sisters. Casinos buy from the same suppliers all the time; that tells you about the games on offer, not about who runs the account.
For you, the main effect is that there is no second site from the same operator to compare or to move to. Anything else you want to try is run by a different company, with its own terms, its own verification checks and its own complaints route. Check the operator named in the terms of any casino before you open an account, because that line is the quickest way to learn whether two casinos are sisters.
No sisters is a finding about ownership. It is not a score: the rating on each casino page comes from its terms and features, so a casino with sisters can rate higher or lower than one without, and having sisters does not make a casino worse.
How we check that a casino stands alone
We run three checks, and a casino has to pass all three before it is listed here.
First, the operator line. We read the casino's own terms for the company that runs the site, and we note a parent company where the terms name one.
Second, the register. The Gambling Commission publishes the websites listed under each licence account. We check and quote that list for the operator's account, and a casino stands alone only when the account lists no website other than its own.
Third, the parent group. Our groups file records a parent only when the casino's own terms, the parent's own brand list or a register record name it, and a platform, a supplier or an address in common never counts. For MrQ the file records no sister, and we found no parent group named in its terms.
Where a source is silent, we write that we could not confirm the point and give the date we looked, instead of treating silence as proof. Check it yourself when a point matters: the operator line sits in the terms of the casinos we review.
Our team tests the casinos and checks every fact on this page before it is published. The method page explains how we find sister sites from start to finish.
Casino by casino
Everything in this section is about MrQ, the only casino on the list. Its own page holds the full review.
MrQ
The operator named in MrQ's terms, Tek Fox Ltd, is also the licensee on the Gambling Commission register. The register lists one website under that account and no other brand, and we read it on 27 September 2026. The entry shows the licence as active.
The welcome offer is 100 free spins on Big Bass Splash, credited after you deposit and spend £10 on qualifying games. Winnings from the spins carry 0x wagering and are uncapped. The maximum stake per spin is 10p, and each spin must be used within 48 hours of being credited. Check the clock as soon as the spins arrive.
On payouts, its help centre says most withdrawals are processed instantly, and the minimum withdrawal is £10. A withdrawal that is not instant can wait on payment, security or verification checks. Keep your identity documents ready before you ask for one.
Support is by email and live chat. The casino says it aims to reply to email within 24 hours, so use live chat for anything urgent. If a complaint is not settled, its help centre says it has appointed IBAS as its alternative dispute resolution provider; complain to the casino first, in writing, and keep copies.
Our rating for MrQ is 3.9 out of 5. It is raised by wagering of 0x on the welcome offer, an active register entry with deposit limits, self-exclusion and a complaints route to an outside body, live chat, and apps on the App Store and Google Play. It is held back in two areas: games scores 3 of 5 with 900+ games, and VIP and loyalty scores 1 of 5 because we found no programme listed on its site. If a loyalty scheme matters to you, look elsewhere for one.
Casinos that look alone but are not
A casino can look alone and still have sisters. The cases below are the ones on this site.
888 Casino is the clearest case. William Hill is its sister, kind: same parent group (evoke plc), separate licence. 888 UK Limited's own terms say it is part of Evoke plc, which owns and operates brands including William Hill and 888, so the two sit under one parent on two licences. 777 is also a sister of 888 Casino, kind: same company and licence. Read the 888 Casino page before you assume anything carries between any of them.
Dream Jackpot looks like a single brand, but 666 Casino is its sister, kind: same company and licence. The register lists 10 websites under the same account, 7 of them active, so the account holds more brands than the one sister we review in full. Open the Dream Jackpot page to see what we could confirm.
32Red also looks alone: Unibet is its sister, kind: same company and licence, and the register lists 5 websites under its account, all of them active. Read the 32Red page for the rest.
Alternatives are not sisters
An alternative is a casino that meets a stated rule, and we always call it an alternative. It is never a sister, because the rule behind it has nothing to do with ownership.
On MrQ's page the rule reads: "We list the other casinos we review whose welcome offer, like MrQ's, has no wagering." It picks Dream Jackpot and PlayOJO. MrQ states no wagering on winnings from its welcome spins, Dream Jackpot states 0x wagering on winnings and PlayOJO states no wagering requirements on its welcome offer.
Wagering is one term among many, and a casino can match on that point and differ on every other. Read the full welcome terms before you deposit, and open a casino's own page to see which sisters it has.
Self-exclusion when a casino stands alone
If you want to stop gambling, register with Gamstop first. The scheme blocks you from gambling websites and apps licensed in Great Britain, so one registration covers every licensed casino, whether or not it has sisters.
A casino with no sister sites has no linked accounts to carry an exclusion from one brand to another, so its own exclusion reaches only that casino unless its terms say otherwise. Check the exclusion wording in the terms of every casino you use before you rely on it. A casino with no sisters is never a way around a self-exclusion, and neither is any other casino.
Gambling businesses are required to have their own self-exclusion arrangements, and MrQ's terms set out its own: "Self-exclusion will be applied to your MrQ account and any future websites operated by us." The casino also says it removes you from its marketing lists during an exclusion.
The casino recommends that you also contact any other gambling sites you play with and ask for an exclusion from those. Do that on the day you self-exclude.
If gambling is harming you or someone close to you, our responsible gambling page and the help services in the next section can put you in touch with someone today.
Gambling help for UK players
To speak to someone about your gambling, people in England and Scotland can call the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133, and people in Wales can call the NHS Wales Helpline on 0808 2819 265. Gambling is for adults only, and in most cases you must be 18 to gamble in Great Britain.
Gamstop blocks you from every gambling site licensed in Great Britain at once, and GambleAware lists further support. GambleAware says its services are available only to Great Britain residents, and we hold no Northern Ireland helpline number, so none is given here. If you live in Northern Ireland, speak to your GP and ask the casino you play at which limit and exclusion tools it offers.
Questions about casinos with no sister sites
What does it mean when a casino has no sister sites?
It means no other casino shares its operating company or its parent group, whether the licences match or not. Sharing a game supplier or a software platform does not change that. It is a statement about who runs the casinos, not about how good any of them is, so read the casino's terms and our rating before you decide.
Which casinos does Octomark list with no sister sites?
Only MrQ at the moment. The register lists one website under the account of its operator, Tek Fox Ltd, and our groups file records no sister. The rest of the casinos we review all have sisters, and some look alone until you read their terms and register entries. Check each casino's page for the detail.
How does Octomark check that a casino has no sister sites?
We take three steps. We read the operator named in the casino's own terms, then the websites listed under its licence account on the Gambling Commission register, then the parent group recorded in our groups file. A casino goes on the list only when all three agree. Each casino page shows the date its facts were read.
Is a casino with no sister sites safer?
Not on its own. Having no sisters tells you who runs a casino, not how safely it runs. For safety, read its licence status on the register, its complaints route and its self-exclusion terms. Our rating for each casino covers account and safety as one of its areas. Ask the casino's support in writing about anything unclear before you deposit.
Does a shared software platform make two casinos sisters?
No. Casinos often buy their software or games from the same suppliers, which says nothing about who operates them. We count two casinos as sisters only when the operating company or the parent group is the same, and only when a source names it. Compare their games if the platform interests you; do not read it as shared ownership.
If I self-exclude at a casino with no sister sites, what happens?
Register with Gamstop and every online casino licensed in Great Britain is blocked at once. At a casino with no sisters, the exclusion is applied to your account there; MrQ's terms extend it to any future websites its operator runs. It does not reach other operators' casinos, and a casino is never a way around a self-exclusion.
What should UK players look at instead of sister sites?
Compare casinos on terms you can check: the wagering and time limits on the welcome offer, how withdrawals and verification work, the complaints route and the self-exclusion wording. Each casino page sets these out from the casino's own terms and carries our rating. Where a page says we could not confirm a term, treat it as a gap to close with the casino before you deposit.
